Pi and Crush Tell the Terminal When They Need You

Two released coding agents now share a status protocol for working, waiting and finished runs. It gives compatible terminals a way to surface the agent that needs attention—without deciphering each tool’s screen.

Two example agent states travel from Pi and Crush through OSC 7501 arrows to a supporting terminal: working and needs you.
Diagram Punka common format carries different current states. Both agents can report working or waiting; the signal does not verify task success.
