ChatGPT Plugins Can Now Start Work from App Events

OpenAI’s new event subscriptions give plugin builders a way to describe what should start a job. The useful change is an explicit integration contract for ongoing work, with the app still responsible for getting its events delivered.

A user instruction filters app events into a signed webhook to ChatGPT, followed by an asynchronous task; delivery is distinguished from completion.
